The Bakisian Drift was a nebulosity located in the Tragan Cluster, a part of the New Territories portion of the Outer Rim Territories. The notoriously perilous Bakisian Drift prevented the exploration of the Tragan Cluster up until approximately three standard centuries before the Galactic Civil War, when a group of Shistavanen scouts charted the sector, discovering several new sentient species in the Cluster's star systems.
