The Betthanie system was located in the Wornal sector of the Mid Rim and Trailing Sectors. It was situated in grid square K-16 of the Standard Galactic Grid.
The system was known to the Alderaanian Princess Leia Organa as where imitations of luxury furniture could be found. In 3 ABY, while Organa was staying in an apartment in Cloud City—a mining colony on the Outer Rim gas giant Bespin—she mentally noted that its furniture had been made to look expensive, but in reality had likely been mass-produced on some moon in the Betthanie system.
