The Bitmus Cloud was a nebula located in the Wazta sector of the Outer Rim and Western Reaches. It was situated in grid square J-18 of the Standard Galactic Grid. The Bitmus Cloud lay between the planet Rex Strata and the nebula known as Nefitifi on the Koda Spur hyperspace route.
After the Great Hyperspace Rush of 383 BBY, the San Tekka clan of hyperspace prospectors mapped valuable new hyperspace routes through the Bitmus Cloud using the abilities of one its members—the child Mari San Tekka. In 231 BBY, as the scientist Chancey Yarrow explained San Tekka's abilities to the Nihil pirate Nan, she mentioned San Tekka's mapping of routes through the Bitmus Cloud.
