The Brield system was a star system located in the Colonies and the Interior, situated in grid square M-12 of the Standard Galactic Grid. At some point during the High Republic Era, Jedi Padawan Reath Silas undertook a rescue mission to the system to clear passengers from a badly malfunctioning transport. In 232 BBY, Silas thought about his time in the star system, considering the rescue mission a departure from his usual training within the Jedi Temple's Jedi Archives on the Core Worlds planet Coruscant.
