The Bunka system was an inhabited star system centered around at least one star in the Illisurevimurasi sector of the Outer Rim Territories. Some time before 41 BBY, the star in the system collapsed, resulting in mass evacuations. The evacuations caused a division of Galactic Republic troops heading for the planet Ontotho to be waylaid.
