The Echo systems was a sector located in the intersection of the Inner Rim Territories and the Interior in grid square M-13 of the Standard Galactic Grid. Among its star systems was the Hillindor system. The New Republic pilot Nath Tensent pictured himself retiring to a tube-yacht in one of the Echo systems. In 5 ABY, Tensent described his hypothetical death in the Echo systems during a game of Who? What? Where?, where the participants named who first heard about their death, what killed them, and where the death took place.
