The Exu Prime system was located in the Outer Rim Territories' Tolonda sector and contained the astronomical object Exu Prime. In 230 BBY, the system became part of the Nihil marauder–controlled region of space known as the Occlusion Zone and was therefore stranded behind the Nihil's Stormwall hyperspace barrier.
Between 230 BBY and 229 BBY, Ikkrukkian Jedi Master Porter Engle stole a Nihil patrol's shuttle on Exu Prime. In 228 BBY, the Stormwall's fall dissolved the Occlusion Zone.
