Far Dostany was a location in the Far Dostany system, a part of the M'shinni sector in the New Territories portion of the Mid Rim. At one point by 22 BBY, a quartet of musicians from Far Dostany—whose musical repertoire included waltzes and minuets but who could also play scrak and smazzo—performed aboard the luxury liner Salin Mariner on its cruise along the Outer Rim Territories' Salin Corridor hyperlane.
