The Gesaril system contained Gesaril, a planet the Empire had quarantined. It was located in the Minos Cluster.
During the Galactic Civil War, the Intrepid orbited the planet Gesaril under the command of Captain Dulrain serving a dual purpose: to enforce the quarantine on Gesaril, and to guard the prison that was located on a nearby ateroid.
