The Jakelia system was a part of the Mandalore sector in the Trans-Hydian portion of the Outer Rim Territories. It was home to the Jakelian tuft-oak tree and the sentient Jakelian species. It was also the origin point of the Jakelian knife-dance, a form of melee combat that also possessed some characteristics of dancing.
