The Jinet system was a remote and uninhabited star system in the Brak sector of the Expansion Region. Shortly before the Battle of Yavin the Alliance to Restore the Republic constructed a secret starfighter base on the planet Jinet. The base's complement of starfighters was a full squadron of BTL Y-wing starfighters.
