Kalimahr was a location in the Tython system within the Deep Core and the Interior. It was situated in grid square L-10 of the Standard Galactic Grid.
By 382 BBY, during the High Republic Era, Kalimahr was considered a sacred site and attracted pilgrims from across the galaxy, though it also harbored dangers for those visitors—a fact known to the Evereni Path of the Open Hand cult member Yana Ro. That year, while Ro was on the Mid Rim moon Jedha—another sacred site frequented by pilgrims—she mentally noted that like Kalimahr, its streets were dangerous.
