Laakonis was a location in the Laakonis system in the Mid Rim Territories' Glythe sector that was home to clans of savage Zabraks. When the Galactic Empire took over Laakonis, its inhabitants became living targets for the Imperial stormtroopers. Those who survived the massacre carried a grudge against the Empire.
