The Marcol sector was a sector of the Mid Rim Territories and the Interior. In grid square L-8 of the Standard Galactic Grid, it contained the Julio system and the Barlok system, the latter of which contained the planet Barlok, which was known for its advanced horticultural techniques. Between 34 ABY and 35 ABY, the Artiodac chef Strono Tuggs bought bushels of the native prisht-fruit while visiting Barlok during a culinary tour of the galaxy.
