The Minavar system was a star system located within the Bheriz sector, a part of the Slice portion of the Outer Rim Territories. At some point, an expedition that included the Human infant Reina Gale and her family established a colony within the system. By 0 ABY, however, the colony was ravaged by a virus that killed nearly its entire population, including Gale's parents, and the girl was left in the care of her uncle.
