Nagoa was a location in the remote corners of the galaxy that was home to the Valau tribe during the era of the Sith Wars fought between the Galactic Republic and various Sith factions. Nagoa was located far from the influence of the Republic and the reconstituted Sith Empire, allowing the Valau people to develop their own beliefs about the Force.
