The Omar system was a star system that contained the planet Omar.
It was here that Imperial manufacturing plants owned and operated by Sienar Fleet Systems were used to construct TIE Avengers. Unfortunately for the Empire, the rogue Grand Admiral Demetrius Zaarin launched attacks at all the Deep Space Manufacturing Facilities and utterly neutralized them, all but crippling the Empire's ability to produce the TIE Avenger. However, the attacks did come at a high price thanks to Tan Maarek Stele.
