Rothana Route

The Rothana Route was a hyperlane that started around the junction of the Triellus Trade Route and the Manda Merchant Route, and led to the planet of Rothana, controlled by Kuat Drive Yards as of around 800 BBY.

The route acted as a lane between the outer galaxy and Rothana, as the location of the planet was secret, and the only way KDY ships could get there was to download encrypted coordinates and a friend-or-foe signal from jump beacons beyond Molavar. Before jumping, the ship would have to transmit the signal to temporaly deactivate the gravity mines along the route. In 311 BBY, the Kuati Succession Crisis was sparked after the yacht carrying the KDY leader Ursela Kuat was destroyed along the Rothana Route.
