The Ryyk Nebula was a nebula that formed from the remnants of a supernova in the Mid Rim Trans-Vulta sector. During the Mandalorian Wars—a conflict between the Galactic Republic and the Mandalorian warrior clans—Republic Admiral Saul Karath made plans to regroup in the nebula after being forced to retreat from a nearby battle. The Republic's successor, the Galactic Empire, operated a major shipyard in the nebula.
