Salaniss system

The Salaniss system was a star system located in Wild Space that contained the planetoid Salaniss. It was situated in grid square H-17 of the Standard Galactic Grid.

According to legend, a civilization once flourished on Salaniss but had become nothing but sand and rubble some centuries after 5000 BBY. At some point, the Sith Lord Darth Siberus had a tomb built on the planetoid and had preserved herself in carbonite there. Every few generations, an individual, following clues left by Siberus, traveled to her tomb under the belief she was a wealthy princess. Once there, they were compelled to revive her and she would extract their life energy to preserve her form in pristine beauty. She would then place herself back into carbonite and await either her next victim or a worthy opponent. The Theelin archaeologist Loreth was one such victim of Siberus' deception.
