The Simoth system was a star system in the Mortex sector of the Outer Rim Territories. It was located in grid square R-5 of the Standard Galactic Grid and contained the forest planet Simoth. The Sith Lord Darth Caldoth left this child apprentice Ry Nymbis in an enslaver camp on Simoth, where he fought slothkins, krastenanes, dianogas, and other enslaved individuals in pit fights. After seven years, Caldoth returned and slaughtered the Simothian enslavers, defeating Nymbis when his apprentice attacked him and then taking him from Simoth to continue his training.
