The Soruus system was a part of the Cronese Mandate sector in the Outer Rim Territories' Tion Cluster. It contained the world Soruus, which was an active trade world under the Kingdom of Cron, and remained associated with gladiatorial contests dating back to that time millennia later. The system's provincial government sentenced criminals to fight to death in arenas, and the Min-Dal corporation developed and tested the prototype JX4 personal battle armor suits there.
