The Sran system was a part of the Ash Worlds sector in the Slice portion of the Outer Rim Territories. During the Galactic Civil War, it contained the facility known as the Sran Outpost. At some point prior to the evacuation of the Alliance High Command base on the planet Dantooine during that conflict, the Sran Outpost came under attack, and the Rebel officer Risiev Credal participated in its defense.
