The Telaris system was located in the Pakuuni sector, a part of the Slice portion of the Outer Rim Territories. At some point between 2 ABY and 3 ABY, Mon Mothma, Commander-in-Chief of the military of the Rebel Alliance, sent a communique to Alliance Admiral Gial Ackbar that contained orders for him to travel as fast as possible to the Telaris system and assume command of the Alliance Fleet.
