The Thannt system was located in the Ryndellian sector of the Mid Rim Territories and the Trailing Sectors. Situated in grid square O-17 of the Standard Galactic Grid, it contained the terrestrial astronomical object Thannt, the site of a biofarm. The fugitive Doctor Cornelius Evazan stole a bioengineered creature known as a pluripleq from the biofarm between 1 BBY and around 1 ABY.
