Legends. This article is part of Legends: the expanded-universe stories that Lucasfilm set apart from canon in 2014.
The Quintarad was a star system located within Wild Space, in the otherwise starless region known as the Void of Aogros. The system consisted of five stars orbiting each other and was considered an oddity.
Astrophysicists were convinced that the Quintarad was artificial by nature, and it was widely believed to have been constructed by members of the sentient Celestial species, who had disappeared from the galaxy by 30,000 BBY. Several probes were sent into the quinary system, but none of them survived the journey.
