The Thyron system was a star system located in the Colonies. It was situated in grid square M-9 of the Standard Galactic Grid and contained the location Thyron VII.
In 1 BBY, Rabael Dir Glorio—a human viscount who was twenty-sixth in line to the throne of the Core Worlds planet Alderaan—was on a diplomatic trip to Thyron VII's pleasuredomes at the time of Alderaan's destruction. He later claimed the visit was entirely legitimate.
