The Var Hagen sector was a sector of the Mid Rim Territories that contained the Alakatha, Lanthe, Miriatin, Opiteihr, Ventran, Vogel, Vondarc, and Zusi systems all in grid square M-16 of the Standard Galactic Grid. It also included the Ch'manss system in grid square M-17 in the New Territories. The Alakatha system contained the terrestrial astronomical object Alakatha, which was known for its beaches, and the Miriatin system contained the world Miriatin, where an entire patrol mutinied against the Galactic Empire during the Galactic Civil War, with only a third surviving to escape offworld.
