Veek system

The Veek system was a star system in the Weneen sector of the Outer Rim Territories that contained the astronomical object Veek. No earlier than 227 BBY, during the High Republic Era, Jedi Master Kelnacca and his Padawan, Yarzion Vell, rescued the child Yesula and her father from a fire on Veek. After they escaped, the Jedi learned from Yesula that the droid Zeekay, who had holos of her dead mother in his databank, was still inside the burning building. Vell then rescued the droid and returned him to Yesula, after which Vell was knighted by Kelnacca.
