The Vulcusion sector was located in the Western Reaches portion of the Expansion Region. It contained the Vulcusion system, which shared its name with the confrontation known as the Battle of Vulcusion.
By 0 ABY, the Vulcusion sector bordered the Alchenaut sector eastward and formed a four-way border with the Hakartha, Bes Ber Bikade, and Rocantor sectors at its northwestern reaches. To the south, the Vulcusion sector constituted the Expansion Region's Rimward boundary with Mid Rim's Eidoloni and Spirva sectors.
