392 BBY, or 392 Before the Battle of Yavin, was a year in the 'ABY-BBY' dating system that was a part of the High Republic Era. That year, the Galactic Republic began sponsoring missions by Pathfinder teams made up of Jedi and Republic Pathfinders to chart new safe hyperspace routes in the Outer Rim Territories, helping the Jedi expand their knowledge and spreading the influence of the Republic. Also around that year, the Quarren Republic leader Orlen Mollo negotiated a territory dispute on the planet Mon Cala.
