590 BBY

590 before the Battle of Yavin (BBY) was a year in the period of time known as the Great Peace of the Republic. The era, having begun more than four hundred years earlier, featured widespread settlement into the unexplored regions of the Outer Rim Territories and the opening of the Deep Core. Around this year, Jedi Master Bodo Baas updated the Tedryn Holocron, a Jedi teaching device.
