The akonije trees were native to the planet Thyferra. Akonije trees grew through and on the roof of the main building of the Xucphra City spaceport. On the way to the Raid on the Dlarit estate as part of the Bacta War, Iella Wessiri hunkered beside the trunk of an akonije tree.
