Alarin was a language that Cassian Andor— a human originally from the planet Kenari but raised on the planet Ferrix—could speak by 5 BBY. That year, speaking Alarin was one of Andor's skills that the rebel Luthen Rael listed when trying to convince his compatriot Vel Sartha that Andor would be an asset to her infiltration team for an upcoming heist on the planet Aldhani, although that was not enough to convince Sartha.
