Algae

Algae grew on a number of planets, including an airborne variety on Bespin, and in the waters of Ahch-To, Sibensko, and Toydaria. Toydaria was home to large mats of algae on its surface. The gangster "Big" Sturg Ganna had a suite with fountains containing flowering lilies and bioluminescent algae which cast a bluish glow.

Algae farms were used to cultivate algae produce. When a piece of a projectile from the Great Hyperspace Disaster hit the surface of Hetzal Prime, several thousands of square kilometers of algae farms were destroyed.
