Bantha butter was a sweet, creamy butter. It was green in coloration and smooth and thick in texture. The butter could turn rancid and be sliced through easily.

The restaurant Dex's Diner on the planet Coruscant included bantha butter in several menu items that were served prior to the diner's destruction in 19 or 18 BBY.
