Basalm trees were a type of spiky tree featuring multihued fronds that could be found on the Outer Rim planet Aricho. In 228 BBY, after the Shani Deva Lompop and Mirialan Jedi Vernestra Rwoh landed on Aricho, Rwoh thought about how the trees reminded her of Lompop's rainbow-colored feathers.
