Bellflower

Bellflowers were a type of large flower that grew on trees on a number of planets. They tempted insects to come close, and when they were, the bellflowers trapped the insects for food. In 228 BBY, while the Nihil scientist Doctor Zadina Mkampa tended to saplings of the Drengir—sentient carnivorous plants—she thought about bellflowers and how they acted as an example of the predatory side of plant life in comparison to the common perception of them as harmless.
