Blackvine

Blackvine was a type of green parasitic vine that grew on the planet Dagobah. In Dragonsnake Bog, blackvine had formed natural bridges over portions of the swamp close to the hut of the exiled Jedi Yoda by 3 ABY. Blackvine also grew on top of the nearby sentient Cave of Evil, which thought of itself as a trap beneath the blackvine leaves. When Yoda died in 4 ABY, the dragonsnake he named Bright-Eyes felt darkness pulsing from the cave and came to investigate. She found a mess of blackvine surrounding the cave mouth and slowly moving as it stretched alongside the opening, fed by the dark energy spilling from within.
