Candied hot pepper

Candied hot peppers were a type of hot green pepper candied via coating in a white powder. Inspired by how etaan crystals could be substituted for standard kyber crystals to power a lightsaber, the Artiodac chef Strono Tuggs swapped out the traditional fruit garnish that the people of the planet Etai consumed with jybbuk slush topped with condensed nerf milk and so created Spiced Jybbuk Juice.

The peppers, which Tuggs described as sparkling like the crystal mines on Etai, balanced out the sweetness of the beverage with heat and were used alongside other red and green garnishes. After a culinary tour of the galaxy that he took between 34 ABY and 35 ABY, Tuggs included the recipe for Spiced Jybbuk Juice in his third cookbook, The Ultimate Cookbook, which was published in 35 ABY.
