Champala Chip

Champala Chips were a small crispy dish invented by the Chagrians of the planet Champala. Created in response to poor fishing conditions, the dish used to be made from a crustacean native to the world, but the recipes were later changed to be plant-based and came to be offered in most dockside pubs on Champala. During a culinary tour of the galaxy he took between 34 ABY and 35 ABY, Artiodac chef Strono Tuggs tried the chips while on Champala. He was unable to tell that it was plant-based, and in his 35 ABY cookbook, The Ultimate Cookbook, he praised the "seaworthy flavors" he found in each bite of the dish.
