Charon language was a communication system used by the Charon species. Being arachnoid creatures, Charon "spoke" by rubbing their mandibles with one another, causing clicks, squeals and scratches. Scientists who analyzed it concluded that the language could only be reproduced by other insectoid species, or by specially programmed protocol droids. The Charon language had a written form.
