Chief Imperial Inspector

Chief Imperial Inspector was a role within the Galactic Empire that was held by Lieutenant Hedge Devlin in the Chorlian sector of the Outer Rim Territories. Devlin was responsible for completing an intake form for a spacer's strongbox that was confiscated by Commission for the Preservation of the New Order agent Paramiah Shrove.

The inspector marked that the box should be returned to its owner despite the fact that it contained objectionable literature, including the book that would become known as the Smuggler's Guide, as Devlin was focused on confiscating spice.
