Clone major

Clone major was a Republic Military rank held by clone trooper officers in the Grand Army of the Republic during their service to the Galactic Republic during the Clone Wars against the Confederacy of Independent Systems, from 22 BBY to 19 BBY. Like the other clone officers, clone majors were flash-trained for their leadership roles. Along with clone battalion commanders, clone majors' command role was that of battalion leader. During the use of armor colors to signify rank, majors wore clone trooper armor with red markings. They shared this color with Clone Captains, though the two ranks' HUD glyphs differed, with majors' being four vertical stripes while captains' was only three. Clone trooper Twelve, designated CT-12/12-0068, held the rank of major and commanded the 327th Star Corps' Hawkbat Battalion. Trooper Jorir, designated CT-43/76-9155, was another clone major and handled the day-to-day operations of Squad Seven, a specialist unit. A clone major also served in an HAVw A6 Juggernaut tank.
