Draggulch Period

The Draggulch Period was an era of galactic history that coincided with the New Sith Wars, a galaxy-spanning conflict that lasted from 2000 BBY to 1000 BBY.

In the last centuries of that period, the Galactic Republic withdrew its borders Corewards, and many colonies of the Expansion Region were abandoned.

Historically and archaeologically, some cultures that flourished in that period of history had to display several technological artifacts that were forgotten by cultures of later ages, such as healing machines as effective as the much later bacta, food rations that remained fresh for centuries thanks to a technology similar to stasis field, Tractor beam projectors as small as hand-held wand, portable fusion reactors that could be carried in backpacks. In the Imperial Era larger devices for the same functions were used, and the finding of such during the excavations of the Valley of the Jedi impressed the agents of the Galactic Empire.
