Canon Linked from 1 article
A droid swap was a starfighter maneuver in which two pilots swap out their astromech droids from one ship to another. It was most notably utilized during the Mission to the Dassal system, where Resistance pilots Poe Dameron and Kazuda Xiono swapped out the two BB-series astromech droids BB-8 and CB-23 from the Fireball to Dameron's X-wing.
