Featherfern

The featherfern was a fern native to several mesas of the grassy Outer Rim Territories planet Bogano. The fern had leaves that were bigger at the base and decreased in size up the fern's single stem. It also had purple flowers on the uppermost tip of the stem.

In 14 BBY, Jedi Padawan Cal Kestis traveled to the Fractured Plain on Bogano, where he harvested a featherfern seed. He grew the seed in a terrarium owned by his companion Greez Dritus aboard the luxury yacht Stinger Mantis. Kestis' collection of various seeds from various planets was done as a form of payment for Dritus' help during the Mantis crew's secret mission to rebuild the Jedi Order. In 9 BBY, after the crew split up, Dritus settled in a cantina on the planet Koboh, and replanted the Featherfern in a pot within the cantina's basement.
