Fire paste

Fire paste was a versatile chemical putty that could be used to ignite and sustain emergency fires on nearly any flammable object. Manufactured by the Corellian Chemical Corporation, the paste was packaged with an igniter in small cubes, similar to tiny plastic explosive charges. After the cube was spread across a fuel source, it could be ignited by pulling a tab on the igniter. Even without a fuel source, the paste was capable of burning in any atmosphere with the intensity of a small campfire for roughly an hour, although the paste did not function in a vacuum or underwater. During the Galactic Civil War, the paste cost five hundred credits and was simple to find for purchase.
