The gillypod was a torus-shaped plant native to the Outer Rim Territories planet Zeffo. In 14 BBY, Jedi Padawan Cal Kestis collected a gillypod seed from Zeffo's Windswept Ruins in order to repay his companion Greez Dritus for his help in their mission to rebuild the Jedi Order. Dritus later kept the gillypod he received from Kestis in the basement of Pyloon's Saloon on the planet Koboh.
