Gloomroot

Gloomroot was a type of tuber that grew in the Shadowlands, the lowest levels of the forests on the planet Kashyyyk. Gloomroot Hollow, an area of the forest floor on Kashyyyk, shared its name with the vegetable. Shredded gloomroot was used to make Gloomroot Pancake, a brown-colored vegetarian side dish that the Artiodac chef Strono Tuggs included a recipe for in his second cookbook, The Life Day Cookbook, which was published at some point after his first cookbook was released in 34 ABY.
